Sziasztok!

Dorka

A Temari labdák:

Akár tojás alakú is lehet ;)

Na akkor ha megtetszett, irány a bolt az alap kellékekért, vagy ha van otthon az még jobb :D

A fontos kellékei:

- hungarocell gömb
- cérna ( a körbe tekeréshez)
- fonalak különböző színekben, amilyet te szeretnél
- gombostűk (különböző színű fejjel a könnyebb meghatározás miatt!)

I

It's a great way to learn and practice these stitches. The impact of this particular project comes from the shading of the threads; 6 shades are used along with highlight colors.

Use a 2 3/4 to 3 inch mari. This example is wrapped in black. It is stitched in DMC Pearl Cotton #8, using colors (from light to dark): 762 (gray), 211, 554, 552, 550 (all laveners to dark purples), and black. Marking thread is Lincatex Gold Rush, in red. Embellishing thread is Rainbow Gallery Nordic Gold, in gold.

The obi is worked in DMC Pearl Cotton #5, in green, with fine gold thread for the obi kagari.

Divide the mari into a Simple 16 and mark the vertical lines with Gold Rush red. Mark the equator with waste thread.
Place keeper pins on each vertical marking line where it crosses the equator.

Using Uwagake Chidori on each pole with Jyouge Douji , work rows in the following order of colors:

1) one row of black
2) two rows of purple #550
3) two rows of purple #552
4) two rows of lavender #554
5) two rows of lavender #211
6) one row of gray #762

Begin stitching on one vertical marking line; pass through the keeper pins on the next line and take the SP stitch of JD on the next vertical marking line; pass through the keeper pins up to the next NP stitch. All stitches are using Uwagake form. Repeat on the alternate set of marking lines so that each vertical line is being worked.

When passing threads through the keeper pins be sure to keep them neat, laying them carefully. Pay attention to how the threads interweave above and below the equator... groom the threads as you go for a crisp and clean effect.

Wrap the obi with Pearl #5 in red; anchor the thread and carefully remove the keeper pins as you go, flattening each bundle of threads from the Jyouge Douji stitching as you go. You can make the obi as wide or narrow as you wish, but be sure to have fully anchored the pattern threads with the wrapping.

Embellish the ball with Nordic Gold; work obi chodori kagari (obi zig zag) stitch to hold the obi wraps in place. Add long straight stitches across the poles in between the red vertical marking lines as shown in the photo.
